Backpack Blessing Packing Night / Monday, January 29

Our Backpack Blessings team will have a packing night in the Gathering Area on Monday, January 29 beginning at 6pm. Backpack Blessings provides nutritious snacks for students in need at Glencoe Elementary.

Youth DNow: The Pause / Friday, Feb. 2 & Saturday, Feb. 3

Our Identity Student Ministry will be heading to Southside Baptist on Friday, Feb. 2 for DNow: The Pause. Our students will leave the church at 5:30pm on Friday and will be ready for pickup Saturday at 9:15pm. Total cost is $25 per student and includes all meals along with a t-shirt. This year’s speaker is Ben Thorton and worship will be by Adam Swann. 

First Wednesday / 'Run, Hide, Fight' Seminar / Wednesday, February 7

Come join us for a church-wide meal and fellowship on Wednesday, February 7 inside the Gathering Area. Afterwards, we will have a special 'Run, Hide, Fight' seminar led by Jonathan Horton beginning at 7pm in the Worship Center.

Chili Cookoff / Sunday, February 18

Get out those chili recipes because this year’s Chili Cookoff is coming Sunday, February 18 after the morning services. More information is coming soon on how to sign-up!

Ministry Fair / Sunday, February 18

Ever want to know what we really do here and how you can get involved? Then don’t miss this year’s Ministry Fair which is coming Sunday, February 18 after the morning service along with the Chili Cookoff. More details are coming soon! 

NGBC Youth Basketball Banquet / Sunday, March 4

All players, coaches and their families are invited to a Youth Basketball Banquet which will take place immediately following the morning service on Sunday, March 4. We will serve lunch and have a time for coaches to share about their players and the season. Players and coaches will also be recognized during the morning service at 10am, so don’t forget to wear your jersey to church that morning! Contact Pastor Max for more information (256.601.9042).

Free Community Tax Preparation / Last day April 13

Free tax preparation is coming to our community beginning tomorrow through April 13 at the George Wallace Senior Center on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10am to 2pm. You will need to bring your photo ID, social security cards, last year’s tax return and all W-2s and 1099s. This program is brought to you by RSVP of Etowah County, the Etowah County Commission & IRS. Call 256-549-8147 for more information.
