Hey everyone! We hope that you and your family is staying safe during these difficult times we are all facing. I just wanted to touch base and give you an update on how we will be reopening the church and how that effects our worship ministry. First of all, I just want to say we MISS YOU and can't wait to be back, leading people into worship together on stage again! Our praise band and tech team has been hard at work each week, helping provide a way to still have church during these difficult days. We truly have an awesome team of people who have helped make that happen and we want to let them know.... GREAT JOB! 

Having said all that I want to let you know what our plan is going forward as far as our worship ministry goes. The Elders and staff have came up with a 3 step process for reopening the church and the safety measures that will be in place to ensure we maintain a safe environment and proper social distancing as per the guidelines that have been recommended by state & health officials. Here's the plan  for the worship teams....

CHOIR

As of right now, the plan is to have no choir for Step 1 & 2 of the reopening schedule. After much prayer and consideration, we feel we cannot safely have a large group of people on stage singing and maintain proper social distancing. We have prayed, researched and followed the example set by other churches in similar situations and we know this is the best choice in considering the health and well being of all our choir members. The plan is to have the Choir rejoin on Step 3, which will be determined at a later date. Please know, we miss you guys and we want to be able to meet again, however we also want to be smart and consider everyone's well being during this time. After June 14th (Step 2) we are planning a Choir gathering to catch up and mingle again, so please keep in touch here online or on social media for more updates!

PRAISE TEAM

For Step 1 & 2 of the reopening process, we will be allowing only 2 praise team members per week, which will make a total of 4 people on stage singing, 6 feet apart.  We will rotate praise team members each week based on vocal types. If you are willing to join back in, please text me at 256.504.3355. We hope by Step 3, we will be able to add more people to the Praise Team as things begin to settle down.

PRAISE BAND

Our praise band will be back to a new rotation beginning Sunday, May 17 for those who are able to join back. Those who are willing to play again will need to plan on playing for the 8am & 10am service. Rehearsal for Sunday morning will begin at 7:10am sharp. We will also practice each Wednesday night at 6:30pm for Step 1 & 2 of the reopening process (no childcare available).  If you are wanting to join the new rotation, please text me 256.504.3355 and let me know you are able to play again! 

We know this is a lot of information and we are constantly keeping an eye on current situations as it pertains to the COVID-19 pandemic. Any of these plans are subject to change and we will give proper notice here online or social media.
