We want to say a special thank you to everyone who came out and helped support this year's Freedom Celebration! This year featured some great talent and we're looking to expand and make next year's event even better! We also want to say a special thanks to each artist who came and performed. Most came for little or nothing and we thank them for sacrificing their time and resources to entertain and lead us in worship for this year's event. And as always we couldn't have made anything happen without our volunteers who tirelessly worked to prepare our park for all our guests. Thank you once again and hope to see you back next year!

Jackson Capps was born to be an country music entertainer. As a very young boy, he and his mother would visit Nashville regularly. Long before he was a teen, Jackson knew that country music was in his blood, and that’s when he taught himself how to play guitar listening to his early influences such as Hank Williams and Johnny Cash. Jackson made his live performance debut at Nashville’s World Famous Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge in 2011. He has been honing his talents as a singer/songwriter ever since.
Following his first live performance, Jackson has been playing concerts across the Southeast including his debut on the Grand Ole Opry at the age of twelve. In 2012, Jackson caught the eye of country music legend Marty Stuart who invited Jackson to perform with him on the road. Jackson continues to write and perform his music all over the United States. He has developed into a seasoned musician by adapting the sounds of Merle Haggard and Waylon Jennings with the cool swagger of Elvis Presley.
Jackson signed a Label & Management deal with MJE Music Group in 2015 and plans to release his debut album followed by a US Tour in support.

Sunset Skies began as a group of friends who wanted to do more than just serve in their local church but also venture out and serve the world through their music. For several years the band would take on many different forms (and members) and played in various churches/venues throughout Northeast Alabama. Though the group has went their own separate ways, they still remain friends to this day and are plugging in one more time for this year's Freedom Celebration. Their known for their Christian rock covers, worship music and original music.
Wes, Blake, Goble, Brad and Shane look forward to seeing you at this year's celebration!
Hard work and dedication goes a long way and we're glad to have our very own NGBC Praise Team join us for this year's celebration. Led by worship leader, Mark Minton, this team of musicians, singers and worshipers come together each week to lead the North Glencoe congregation in music.
We know you'll enjoy this talented group as the open the night with some great worship music. Also be sure to come see them play each Sunday at 10am right here at North Glencoe!
Every year, we do our best to put on a great family oriented event where we can enjoy God's beautiful creation along with laughter and fun together with our church family and friends. We want to make sure we can keep doing this great event each year. If you would like to help give to the cost of this year's Freedom Celebration, you may donate at the link below. Please know this is not required, we just want to give the option in case someone would like to help out.
Everything given will go towards the expenses of Freedom Celebration and anything extra will be used for next year's event. Thank you for your contribution!
